Seth Shomes
Founder & CEO
An award-winning agent for over 25 years, Seth Shomes is the Founder and CEO of Day After Day Productions (DADP) where he oversees the client roster as well as all business development initiatives.
An accomplished leader and recognized expert in the live touring sector, Shomes established himself as a pioneer in the field when he became the first agent to build a platform for non-traditional entertainment programming to thrive in the gaming/casino industry. Throughout his career, Shomes has received praise from the highest level of executives, artists, managers, and record and PR executives for his ingenuity in developing unique marketing strategies for his clients that have proven to be more successful on multiple levels than those of his contemporaries.
As voted on by the industry, Shomes has been awarded the “Casino Agent of the Year” title five (5) times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020) at the annual Casino Entertainment Awards in Las Vegas. In addition to the “Casino Agent Of The Year” titles, Shomes was nominated for Pollstar’s “The Bobby Brooks Award / Agent Of The Year” in 2024 and for 2025 which recognizes the top agents throughout the entire industry in all facets of bookings. He was also named a top “Touring Power Player” by Billboard in 2024. To add to the excitement, DADP proudly earned nominations in 2024 & 2023 for “Independent Agency Of The Year (Global).”
After graduating cum laude from Tufts University in Boston in 1995, Shomes’ career started in the mailroom at the esteemed Associated Booking Corporation (ABC) in New York where he trained under legendary agent Oscar Cohen.
In 1996, he opened DADP with a core expertise and focus on booking, producing, and buying talent for entertainment events and the agency held an unparalleled dominance in the casino and soft ticket worlds for two decades.
After strategically aligning with The Agency Group (TAG) on various clients for many years, Shomes joined them in 2014 where he launched the first dedicated Casino division at any worldwide agency. When TAG was acquired by United Talent Agency (UTA) in the Summer of 2015, Shomes founded UTA’s debut Casino Division which annually secured tens of millions of confirmed deals for its music and non-traditional touring clients under his leadership.
Although he enjoyed his time at UTA, Shomes felt a need to follow his entrepreneurial instincts again and re-launched DADP in April 2021. DADP has immediately emerged as one of the touring world’s premier independent music agencies that excels in bookings for venues of all types and capacities.
In addition to receiving continued positive press in all the major trade publications such as Billboard, Rolling Stone, Forbes, Pollstar, Celebrity Access, and more, Shomes partnered with Yucaipa Investments in October 2022 which immediately strengthened DADP’s footprint as a leader in the touring space.
As an event producer, Shomes founded the philanthropic social media campaign, Flash Flood For Good in 2013. In association with President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative, and a host of celebrities, this charitable endeavor generated a digital voice of more than 545 million for Clean Water Awareness and raised money to build wells and provide clean driving water for impoverished countries.
Having started in the industry as a songwriter and rock pianist, Shomes still enjoys playing gigs locally and uses the left side of his brain to complement the right side in finding unique ways to market his clients to increase their touring businesses annually.
